Today’s installment is all about getting Help. I know what you are thinking…. That’s easy, you just click on the question mark icon!! That is true, but what if you need help on a previous (or newer version) of your software? What do you click on then?
For example, you might still be on Civil 3D 2016 and are wondering about new functionality and changes available in 2017 and or 2018? Maybe you are on Civil 3D 2018 and are wondering if a particular tool you are using is available to one of your sub consultants currently using Civil 3D 2016. Perhaps you leverage a particular tool and want to know if it is an AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map or AutoCAD Civil 3D feature so you know what license is required for your people to use it…
Maybe you are just nostalgic and are wondering how we got to where we are today. :)
There are number of reasons where access to forward looking, backward looking and application specific information could be very valuable.
If only we could quickly access this information. Fortunately, we can!!
To access help files from multiple releases of Civil 3D, Map 3D and AutoCAD, you can click on the links below… (I'm hoping going back to 2010 is far enough. :) )
