When working with scanned images, you may encounter some "noise". Typically, noise is introduced during the scanning process and is represented as small unwanted speckles scattered throughout an image. Fortunately, using AutoCAD Raster Design we can easily "despeckle" noisy images to make them suitable for use in production drawings.

Raster Design is one of the most powerful, least talked about applications in the Autodesk portfolio. If your day-to-day responsibilities involve working with images, Raster Design is a great tool to have in your toolbox!
If you are interested, I've created a quick recording showing how to use Raster Design to remove speckles from a bitonal image.
